15 hotels perfect for me – reasons of choice
Few days ago I got an idea for a new content – 15 hotels perfect for me.🙂 I always wannted to share with you my dreams hotels. I know that usually low-budget travelers don’t need “fancy” hotels as additional entertainment. We also usually ignore these issues, focusing mainly on low price and decent conditions. Let’s be honest! 🙂 Who wouldn’t like to sleep in awesome hotel? You know that sometimes dreams come true… 😀 so I prepared a list of hotels where I would like to spend at least 1 night! This is a subjective list, you don’t have to agree with it. 😃 When I was choosing this 15 hotels I mainly based on their originality, unusual location, interesting decor, place, etc. It is not a sponsored content and I’ve never been to this hotels (as the title suggests). I based mainly on photos and descriptions / opinions found on the internet! 🙂 Order doesn’t matter!
1. Goreme Palace Cave Hotel / Cappadocia, Turkey
Staying in this hotel I would actually fulfill my 2 dreams. 😀 Cappadocia is a fabulous land in Turkey that is also on my travel list. It is known primarily for its characteristic tufa forms, which make up the lunar landscape and homes, churches and hotels built in the rocks. Every morning, at sunrise, balloons rise to the sky, creating an idyllic image of this magical place. At breakfast you can enjoy this amazing color show, and the other day you can find yourself in such a balloon! An extra attraction are beautiful hotels, whose rooms look more like caves. There is quite a large selection of hotels in this location, with similar conditions, hence prices are competitive. Goreme Palace Cave Hotel has attracted my attention due to its convenient location, high guest score, breakfast included, and above all a reasonable price. Depending on the season, prices for a weekend night for 2 people range between 30 – 55 euros. More photos -> Official Hotel page.
2. The Manta Resort / Pemba Island, Tanzania
I guess that everyone knows Tanzania, but probably not everyone knows that it is one of those countries where you can sleep under water? 😀 I always wondered how it feels when you wake up and out of the window you have blue water instead of sky. Instead of clouds, colorful fishes, or other beautiful sea creatures. Maybe the interior of the room is not too sophisticated, but the hotel is located 250 m from the shore! No neighbors, only you and your partner. You don’t need to dive, so for those who doesn’t know how to swim, there is hope! I hope that one day I won’t be sorry to spend 1500 $ per night? 🙂 More information about the hotel can be found here.
3. Icehotel / Jukkasjärvi, Sweden
We’ve already had a cave, underwater world and now it’s time for ice! I already had the chance to be at two ice bars in Stockholm and Barcelona, but staying at an ice hotel sounds like a challenge! 😀 I always wonder if sleeping on such an icy bed, we won’t be wet from melting ice? Or can we freeze to bed? Is the toilet also made of ice? 😀 In this case I have more questions than answers, but I would definitely check it. The price for ice room starts from 327 euros for two people for a weekend night!
4. Faralda Crone Hotel / Amsterdam, Netherlands
Although I was already in Amsterdam, I wouldn’t mind coming back to sleep in the port crane! 😀 I’m so impressed with this original idea, especially since the hotel is rated for 5 stars and its designer interiors are awesome! A weekend stay in such a hotel for 2 people costs just 793 euros. Of course, prices may change, so don’t take that amount for granted. This is for orientation purposes! 🙂
5. Giraffe Manor/Nairobi, Kenya
Breakfast at Tiffany, or maybe breakfast with giraffes? I definitely choose the second one! On my list of 15 hotels perfect for me can’t miss this fabulous place. When I first saw the photos, I thought it was a photomontage. I was very surprised when I discovered that such a place exists in Kenya. Just look for the hotel with giraffes in Google and immediately redirect you to the right place. 😀 😀 I haven’t been to Kenya yet, so maybe it is worth to save some money to eat at least once in life breakfast with giraffe? 🙂 Prices from 555 $ per person! 😛 You can find more information on the official website of Giraffe Manor.
6. Simpson House Inn/Santa Barbara, California, USA
Time for a bit of class and Victorian design. It is best to taste it in California, where they love the style. Simpson House Inn captivated me with this elegance and beautiful location. Its interior you can go back in time. Just look at these wonderful colors! I think I will use them to paint my room. Prices for a weekend night for 2 people with breakfast from 343 euros. Does anyone have to much 343 euros? I would love to take care of it! 🙂
7. Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort – Igloos and Chalets / Saariselka, Finland
We are back in Europe again and again in the Scandinavian regions. I consider myself very lucky, because I’ve already been to Saariselka. But I wouldn’t hesitate if someone would offer me to sleep in Igloo! Especially that Lapland is a beautiful region, and I didno’t have the opportunity to admire the aurora in full glory. But there is no need to freeze outside watching the northern lights – better to do it out of bed! 😀 A glazed roof in such a place is the best idea that anyone could have in Lapland. 😀 Prices for glass igloo starts from 641 euros. Just book immediately, because they sold out quickly! 😛
8. Montaña Mágica Lodge/Huilo Huilo, Chile
Montaña Mágica Lodge is the first South American hotel on my list of 15 hotels perfect for me! I was impressed by its construction, which resembles a volcano from which lava (water) is extracted. 🙂 Its location is also unusual. Montana Magica Lodge is located in Jungle and thus stresses that it is environmentally friendly. The rooms look quite simple, but I really like that simplicity. Prices for a double room start from 252 $.
9. Shangri-La Hotel/Paris, France
We are back to Europe again. This time I was encouraged of luxury. Who doesn’t want to live forever in such a beautiful Shangri-La?! 🙂 With the most beautiful view from the balcony to the Eiffel Tower. The property is located in the former residence of Prince Roland Bonaparte and it has the status of monument historique. In such a hotel I would like to work as a cleaner to explore all the rooms !! 😀
You know that Paris is expensive (I’ve already been here but I want to come back), and this hotel also wants a great amount for the night! Interestingly, breakfast is not included in the price and can be bought for 68 euros. 😀 Yes, but who cares of 68 euros, when for a weekend night in the hotel for 2 people pays 1004 euros? 🙂
10. Taj Rambagh Palace/Jaipur, India
Who would not want to be hosted by Maharaja? Known as the “jewel of Jaipur”, it tempts luxury and original design. It was this Hindu architecture that captivated me the most. Richly saturated colors perfectly fit in the style of India. At this hotel you won’t forget in which country you are. Taj Rambagh Palace offers weekend accommodation for 2 people from 506 euros.
11. The Mouses House Rainforest Retreat/Springbrook, Australia
Time for Australia and I will surprise you here. Probably most of you expected a Hobbit-style hotel? 😀 Sorry, that’s not for me! I watched this object, but honestly it didn’t really impress me. I haven’t been to Australia yet, but it is my great dream. I would be twice happy if I could spend one night in the jungle, in Mouses house! 😀 Yes, this hotel definitely won due the location in the jungle. 😛 Prices for 2 people start at just 174 euros.
12. Katikies Hotel/Oia, Greece
It can’t be hidden that in my list of 15 hotels perfect for me, European hotels rules! This is probably the merit of my love for Europe! 😀 Let’s leave northern Europe and move to the blue waters of the Aegean Sea – to the land of white houses. Santorini is one of the most beautiful Greek islands. Here I also found a hotel that caught my eye. Time for place where all the rooms are white. Katikies Hotel offers spacious, unobtrusive white rooms with beautiful sea views. In low season, prices for two people for a weekend night can be hunted from 400 euros.
13. Marina Bay Sands/Singapur
This time to my collection of 15 hotels perfect for me, I add the hotel in the clouds – Marina Bay Sands. Which swimmer wouldn’t like to practice in the pool with a view of the modern city? I would definitely like it very much! Prices for one night for 2 people starts from 320 euros.
14. Riad Malika/Marrakesz, Morocco
To make dreams come true easily, I have also chosen hotels where the price per night doesn’t exceed 250 euros. There are lots of such hotels, but it is extremely difficult to find them with so many choices. This time we are back again to Africa, but already to its northern part. Marrakech is full of amazing hotels. I found very interesting Riad Malika, which was once a residential home. It now offers charming and cozy rooms and tropical halls with gardens. Cheap flights to Marrakech encourage me to stay in such place, especially that this time prices star from 100 euros.
15. Salonki Carskie/Białowieża,Poland
It would be unfair if I skipped my homeland in my list? Especially that the above hotel in Białowieża is a really original one! Salonki Carskie are located in the 20th century train, which Car Mikolaj II was using as a transport for hunting in Białowieża. Spending a night in a history train sounds so extraordinary for me, especially if you are a history lover. I hope this dream will come true soon too, due to the proximity and not too expensive prices. Prices in the Salonka starts from 104 euros for 2 people.
